Sumowax was the most adventrous birth
of all the Bb. products. It all starterd when the
Editorial Stylist became enthralled with the part
hairdressing played in ancient Japanese sumo
wrestling rituals, where wax is melted in iron
cauldrons, applied and then cooled to set glossy,
black helmets of hair.

The contemporary commerical equivalent from
Japan proved a pale, greasy (and stinky) imitation
so Bb. set about finding the right blend of waxes
to do the job. Two years later, they hit the mark
and the wax was cast. There's beeswax in it to
give your hair structure, hold, and moisture control.
